We are a small family (Filipa 🙋‍♀️, Filipe and a bunch of cavaliers) living in Aveiro, Portugal 🇵🇹
I’m a vet 🩺, graduated in 2019 at ICBAS in Oporto, and I’ve been a dog breeder ever since I can remember (my parents were breeders as well). Our love and dedication for this wonderful breed started in 2012 and it was at that time that our "Edel Plass" affix was created. This means "noble house" in Norwegian. Our house is more noble with these little ones in it and the Norwegian language was chosen because of the connections we have with that country.

Our dogs are family members, each one of them receives individual attention and love. We don’t have kennels, they live right at home with us.

As a breeders, our main goal is to breed healthy dogs with the right temperament and beauty of the breed.
Therefore, all our breeding dogs are:

🫀 Tested for the main diseases of the breed. This is our main concern. We literally spend our life studying pedigrees to choose the healthiest dogs.

⚖️ With the breed’s characteristic temperament: cheerful, loving, calm, intelligent and excellent assistance dogs

🌎 According to the breed’s standard. Carefully selected blood lines from all over the world. We are not the type of breeders that are obsessed for show results but we are kinda obsessed with their health. Of course our cavaliers also have a certain type in terms of look: we love big round black eyes, beautiful ears and coat (without exaggeration ⚠️), noble appearance, sweet expression, good structure but short size 🐕

We breed cavaliers for company, for therapy (for children, elderly people and people with special needs) and for show/breeding. We breed with love ❤️
